Perhaps the biggest advantage is the ability to remotely monitor over the Internet using a mobile app. The camera module just needs to be connected to the router at the installation site and everything else, so you can set up and monitor the PV monitor with the PV Cam Viewer mobile app.

The module provides three optional levels of resolution from WVGA to FULL HD . As a matter of fact, the lower the resolution you choose, the more space is saved on the inserted card and the battery life.
