PV-1000Touch is for those that 160 GB HDD in portable HD quality DVR was not enough.

Previous Lawmate PV-1000 model was the first Lawmate Mini DVR that featured processor that offered HD quality recording / adjustable FPS, integrated HDD in DVR of such size and various other advanced feature.

The new PV-1000 fails to disappoint as the new integrated 320GB HDD is capable of providing easily over a week of uninterrupted recording material right on the compact sized DVR. There is also new 5 inch screen that enables comfortable review of any recorded video as well as easy to use touch screen commands.

PV-1000 touch now also supports 12V digital cameras with new HDMI in port as well as the standard Lawmate 5V A/V in option. Like the previous model it will just as successfully power any compatible camera however this time both analogue as well as digital camera models.

PV-1000 Touch comes with an improved size and speed HDD disk. 320 GB HDD is enough for PV-100 Touch to store up to 90 hrs of HD quality (960p) recording, or up even up to 180 hrs or more 30 FPs VGA recording.

With as much recording time available, PV-1000 Touch can achieve tasks that no other DVR of similar size can while still being able to covertly fit where large DVRs are not able to.

Large 5“ LCD touch screen

While the first model of mini DVRs usually did not feature screen but the recorder video was observed on a separate LCD monitor or a nearby laptop computer PV-1000 Touch finally changes it.

Besides providing comfortable touch screen control with a screen as large as 5“ with a resolution of 800 x 480 it is big enough for a user to notice all the necessary details in 1080p recorder video. Even more so if the zoom function is utilised as needed.

High level of security

Lawmate mini DVR PV-1000Touch just as previous generation model allows setting up USB access and power on password and unlike devices that use only SD card for memory storage it will actually make your recordings secure. With the PV-1000 you can not just remove the SD card in order to remove the A/V evidence.

Providing user would not have the passwords to access the device, it would be necessary to physically dismantle the device and use forensic hardware to access the recorded video or audio evidence on the HDD. Not to mention it would also leave visual marks on the DVR thus making recorded video on the DVR very safe. (Reset button does not reset the passwords!)

Level of integrity for video audio recording is also preserved with an option to attach to the video recording following:

Frame counter
Time and date
Device ID
Unique ID of the person using the device

Thus making the recorded video very difficult to temper with.

Multiple recording modes including Pre-event and Pre-motion recording modes

Basic modes that PV-1000 provides is on-click recording through preview mode, time scheduled set-up recording and standard visual grid motion detect recording.

The innovation that Lawmate DVRs models have brought to improve DVRs are Pre-event and Pre-motion modes that will keep 15-30 seconds buffer of your recording.

What does that mean ?

In Pre-event mode although event that you wanted to record might have just passed you can start the recording function afterwards and the video of the event will be saved. When things happen fast and reaction needs to be in an instant even when circumstances might not allow it - that is where Pre-event mode comes really useful.

Pre-motion mode works in a similar way and will record events that preceded motion detect trigger. It will allow you to make sure motion detect always records everything that happens in your scenery regardless if lower light conditions might prevent motion record to trigger instantaneously.

Easy to use

On device buttons allow quick and easy sliding through many menus of the device software, allowing you to make fast adjustments to recording and other device settings. If you wish to start recording with a click of a button record button is available and same goes for a power off function.

There is also switch to lock the device to prevent accidental interruption or starting of the recording when you have DVR covertly hidden for example in your pocket.

IR controller comes with the device and will allow you to control it without maintaining visual contact with the device.

5V and 12V analogue and digital camera support

With support of 5V analogue and 12V digital recorder powered cameras through 2.5 and HDMI jacks featured on the DVR, Lawmate PV-1000Touch is compatible with wide array of spy cameras, which makes it possible for the DVR to power not just standard Lawmate cameras but most of the other spy cameras available on the market.
