In a high risk situation where the subject might be aware of the surveillance operation and use devices such as Jammers to prevent any signal to go in or out of their surroundings it is good to know that data on the Lawmate GM-GV3 can still be recorder on the device itself. Start and end of recording can be triggered both on the device and remotely while the 3G signal is available.

There might also be situations where the 3G signal is temporarily unavailable or weaker thus preventing live feed and PC recording. An often case is when GM-GV3 is fixed on a person or a moving object that moves in and out of 3G coverage. 

In any case all the recorder data on GM-GV3 can be remotely downloaded back to the client after the 3G connection is restored without the need of physical access to the GM-GV3 DVR.

Lawmate 3G DVR transmitter is a technically advanced device and there are yet not many other models of 3G DVR available on the market.  As of the release of GM-GV3  product there was no clear standard as to how should 3G DVR device look and operate.

There are 4 LED indicators each signalling their respective statuses that include Power LED, Battery Status LED, Network Link Status LED and Record LED. With the help of the user manual it is easy to use and troubleshoot the device.

How to start useing Lawmate GM-GV3:

GM-GV3 is fairly easy to set up. Basic steps are following:

Install software from CD

Insert SIM card, SD card into the GM-GV3. Connect antenna and any Lawmate 5V camera to the 3G DVR device

Connect Lawmate GM-GV3 to your pc and start device config to install drivers, set up your user name and password and APN settings.

Start mobile viewer and enter your user name and password. Your Video/Audio feed should be up and going on your screen.
