GPS TRACKER - CONTAINER

How does the Container GPS Tracker work:
The GPS tracker needs to be charged before use. You then place a (pre-paid) SIM card with sufficient (data) calling credit. Now you can place the gps tracker. Due to its shape and magnetic attachment, it can be quickly attached to the door of a standard container. Subsequently, depending on whether the tracker detects movement and whether there is GPS or LBS range, positions will be forwarded to a portal. With movement the interval will be higher than with no movement and or range. For example, the tracker can be set to an energy saving mode, which means that only 1 position per 6 hours is sent. In this position, the operating time of the GPS tracker container is approximately 2 months.  

GPS GPS Tracker positioning:
The GPS tracker container will initially try to determine its position using GPS. If no contact can be made with sufficient GPS satellites, the GPS tracker will try to determine a location based on the connected GSM masts (LBS). A location based on the GSM masts is more inaccurate than that of GPS, but you can be the country and area where the container tracker should be located. The GPS tracker can only send its location to the portal when there is sufficient GSM range. In the middle of the sea, the container will therefore not send anything until a connection is again made to a GSM network. The GPS tracker has a 3G SIM card module so that it can roam in all countries with a 2G and / or 3G network.  

View location and settings:
APP can be logged into the portal via a secure website or smartphone. Both the settings can be seen and adjusted here. The last known location is also immediately displayed here on a map and it is possible to view the history for up to 2 months and possibly download it. Via the smartphone APP it is also possible to receive notifications in the event of movement, tampering, door open / close via a push notification.
