Our wireless dog fence operates independently and does not require Wi-Fi or an internet connection. It is a standalone unit that creates an invisible circular boundary around a central base station using radio waves. This means you can easily set it up anywhere without the need for Wi-Fi signals.

Ideal for large level sites with a minimum size of 100 meters x 100 meters, we recommend maintaining a minimum distance of 50 meters between the base transmitter and the desired containment area. If the distance is shorter, we suggest considering our wired system. You can compare the differences between our wired and wireless kits for more information.

The Western Pet Products Wireless dog fence kit includes a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter serves as the main base station, which can be conveniently plugged into an indoor power outlet in your home or garage. It emits an adjustable signal range from 50 to 500 meters, creating a safe zone where your pet can freely explore.

Inside the circular boundary, known as the safe zone, your pet can roam without restrictions. The receiver collar detects the signal emitted by the transmitter. As long as the collar receives the signal, your dog can enjoy the freedom within the safe zone. When approaching the outer perimeter, the collar emits an audible warning beep followed by a mild static correction.

Please note that this wireless dog fence is designed for outdoor use only. If your dog continues to move beyond the safe zone, they will receive a harmless static correction, reminding them not to proceed further. Over time and with proper training, your dog learns to avoid the outer boundaries when hearing the warning beep, resulting in fewer static corrections.

To aid in training, our wireless dog fence kit includes flags that can be placed along the boundary of the safe zone. These flags serve as visual cues, working in conjunction with the beep alert from the receiver collar. This combination helps your pet quickly associate the flags with the collar's alert, enabling them to understand what to do when approaching these visual markers.

However, please note that this system is not suitable for hilly ground, as hills may block the signal transmission.
