2. Installation 

1. Loosen the screw on the back of the cover Push the rear cover down and remove it from the control panel. 

2. Insert the SIM card into the slot. 3. Connect the battery to the control panel. 

4. Connect the AC adapter to the control panel and the electrical outlet. The power light will turn green after 30 seconds, which means the device is on. 

Note: Status without SIM card, without battery, power off or mains shutdown, control panel error will occur. 

5. Plug the Ethernet cable into an Internet outlet. When the device is added to the Hik connection, the indicator light will turn green. 

6. Fasten the rear cover to the mounting position with the 5 screws provided. Attach the control panel to the rear and tighten the screws to complete the installation. .! Side hole 

If you need to run the cable along the bottom of the board, remove the tab on the side hole. | Temper screw 

It is mandatory to fasten the temper screw. 

3. Setup Setup via APP 

1. Log in to the App Store or Google Play and enter the Hik Connector to search and install the mobile client. 

2. Log in to the APP with a Hik-link account. 

3. Touch Add Device. Scan the QR code on the back of the board (on the label). 1. 




Touch Connect to a Network. select wireless connection (AP) as the connection mode, -Press the switch to AP / STA mode to the AP position, touch Confirm. 

~ Touch the wi-fi connection in the display window. Select and connect to stable Wi-fiam then click Next.

3 Push the switch to APA / STA mode to the STA position. 

Note: Before activating, you must enter the verification code (on the device pasted on the back of the panel) if you add the device by entering it in the device serial number. 

Setting up via the web client Login to the web client 'The default iP address is when using the mobile browser in AP mode: 192.168.8.1. The device must be in AP mode. 'The default IP address is when you connect the network cable directly to the computer: 192.0.0,54 

Enter the IP address of the device in the address bar of the web browser. Create a password to activate the device and log in to the web client. 

Add a Zone 

Camera 1. Click System-Network Camera and You can use two cameras on the control panel. 

2. Click Wireless Device-Zone, select a zone, click the Setting icon, and then select a camera to connect to the zone. 

You can also connect the camera to the area via APP, see the control panel user manual for details. 

Configure video-push 

Video can be viewed via the app and email. For details on the settings, see the operating instructions of the security control panel. 

Configured over 4200 client 

Log in to the web client 

1. Download and install the iVMS-4200 client. 

2. Go to the device management page, select the device from the list of web devices, then click Edit Network Settings, change the port to 80, and click Add to Client. 

Footnote; you must activate the device for the first time. 

4. Function Button Operation 

Note: Add a card or key via a Web client before adding an unauthorized alarm clearing device. 

Add an external device 

When the control panel is not in configuration mode, press the function key on the control panel side once and start the peripheral device. 

Note: You cannot add keys with the function button. 

Check the RF signal 

When the control panel is not in configuration mode, press the function key twice and check the RF signal strength on the external device. 

4. Touch Connect to a Network. Select wireless (AP) as the connection mode 

S. Slide the switch to AP / STA mode to the AP position, touch Confirm. 

6. Touch the wi-fi connection in the display window. Select and connect to a stable Wi-Fi then click Next. 

7. Create a password to activate the device. 

8. Slide the AP / STA switch to the STA position. 

Note: Before activating, you must enter the verification code (on the device affixed to the back of the board) if you add the device by entering it in the serial number of the device.

Add a zone camera 

1. Click System-Network Camera, and you can use two control panel cameras. 

2. Click Wireless Device-Zone, select a zone, click the Setting icon, and then select a camera to connect to the zone.

Configure video-push

1. Disassemble the device. Remove the front and rear panel. Remove the insulating tape to cover the device.

2. Assemble the front and rear panels by aligning the indicator slot on the front panel with the indicator cable on the rear panel. 

3. Detector registration 

a) Local detector registration 

Turn on the safety control panel. When the detector is triggered, press the function key. You can add a detector according to the voice prompt. 

Note: The distance between the security control panel and the detector must be less than 50 cm. 

b) Register the detector via APP 1. Log in to the APP Store and enter "Hik-Connect" to search for a mobile client. 2. Download and install Hik-Connect on your phone. 

3. After installation, press © to start the client. 

4. Turn on security control panel. 

5. Log in to Hik-Connect and tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the HikConnect page to add a security control panel. You can scan the QR code on the back of the board or on the packaging, or manually enter the serial number of the device to add the device while the device is in registration mode. 

6. When adding a security control panel, touch the arming status icon to the right of the control panel name to go to the Partition page. 

7. Touch the "+" icon on the Partition page to add an external device. 

4. Installing the detector 

1. Check the signal strength. 

Go to signal verification mode by operating the control panel. 

The detector indicator lights up green: good signal.
